Description:

Its a new year, so new beginnings .. Lots for recipe ideas and inspiration to get you back to eating 3 healthy meals a day.. We’ll cover the planning, shopping list, store cupboard essentials, freezer and batch cooking.

We’ll have you cooking your way back to a healthy and happier you, and we’ll even include a few treats. Everything in moderation including moderation.

Soups, Breads, Dinners, Puddings & Desserts

In this class we will cover and give a modern twist to soups, sauces, lunch & dinners and of course yummy  puddings and desserts.

This class will focus on good essential skills and recipes for feeding the family while trying to get a work life balance right.

You’ll head home full of delicious food and rearing to get back into your own kitchen with your new recipe pack under your arm and a mind full of fresh inspiration.

Baking & Desserts – Hand On

Description:

A home baked cake, a pot of tea, a comfy chair, an hour of peace and a good old chat – it’s as good as a holiday..
In this class you will learn how to make delicious cakes & sponges, sinful desserts with all the trimmings and puddings to make your eyes water . You’ll be armed with an array of deliciousness to take home & enjoy where I’m sure you’ll have eagerly awaiting family or friends, or both when they hear your off on a hands on baking & desserts cookery class.

Meat Free Meals – Hands On  – New Class

Description: 

Would you like to include more fresh fruit and vegetables in your diet but not sure of how to make a complete meal or side dish out of them. This is just the class for you whether your a fully fledged vegetarian or carnivore

Taste Of India—Hands On

Join us as we taste and explore the most popular Indian spices and create our favorite recipes from scratch while we learn the difference between whole spices and ground.

The variety of Indian spices and combinations are never-ending, and we love them all. From toasting and blending our own flavorful spices, to our warm and fresh handmade Naan and Veggie Samosas, this class is sure to please.

Grab a friend and let’s enjoy a spice-filled culinary adventure together.

Bread Making– Hands On

Description:

The amazement of how just a few simple ingredients can be transformed into so many different shapes and tastes , and the most wonderful and magical thing is that no matter how many times you’ve made that crusty white loaf or  brown bread, the excitement is always the same as the first one you ever lifted out of the oven.

A good cheese or a delicious sweet pot of homemade jam and freshly baked bread, you’ll never be stuck if that unexpected friend pays a visit and the smells in your home will be absolutely divine..

 You’ll  create and bake an array of breads, everything from a crusty white loaf, sweet buns to traditional Irish soda breads plus more.

In this class we’ll cover everything for making your own starter, fermenting and baking . You’ll enjoy a Cloughan Farm lunch during the day before you head off, full of confidence with a starter ready to use and your breads you’ll have baked on the day.

Have you always wanted to decorate a cake for a family or friends christening, communion,birthday,or any special occasion?.
We’ve invited along to Cloughan Farm and Cookery School for a day,the very talented & experienced Marian Malone from Special Occasion Cakes to host a hands on Sugarcarft Class teaching
students how to cover & decorate this absolutely stunning cake from start to finish & Marian will take you through all the steps of how to recreate & customize the cake according to your occasion or celebration.

Description:

What a beautiful thing to be able to turn fruits & vegetables into pots of gold, their absolutely and completely transformed. Cakes & scones filled or topped with lashings or dollops of fruity jams or add a good cheese, a homemade pate and a crusty bread and you’re in haven. Decorate your pots with a ribbon and you’ve a delicious edible gift for someone very special!

Entertaining Friends & Family  Buffet Style – Hands On

Communion/Confirmation/Family Or Friend Celebrations

In this class you’ll learn all the tips & tricks suitable for hosting a family or friends gathering in your own home. We will take you through the preparation for organizing your space layout, delegating jobs & menu planning.

You’ll be getting hands on in our kitchen preparing, cooking & baking simple but delicious recipes  that you’ll be able to prepare in advance and that won’t see you running around like a headless chicken before your guests arrive or during their stay..

You’ll be the perfect host and we’ll even throw in tips to help you escape the wash-up!!
